About The Two Queens Party

Established in 2000, The Two Queens Party is a whole new lifestyle concept for women. It was initiated by the modern woman, for the modern woman.

Our private organization serves two main purposes: To establish a community hub especially for women in our region; and to provide a quality lifestyle and privileges for our members.

Nine years old now and still going strong, the Two Queens Party has since grown to become a weekly party, every Thursday at PLAY and the last Sunday of the month at StereoLab.

The Two Queens Party Crew

Wendy Ng
Party Queen

A lifetime member of the Two Queens Party, she fell into this party organizing business when the ringleader of Two Queens stepped down to make merry in Thailand. Having lasted for 6 years now, Two Queens is very much part of her life and she is addicted to it.

Known not to smile much (a misunderstood fact), she’s actually a soft andro (!) inside who idolizes her little black dog. Happy to be allergic to prawns, and vegetables that look like trees, she loves a glass of white wine anytime of the day.

Grace Chua
Party Princess

It’s been a well-known fact that straight girls do not know how to party. Well she’s here to prove you wrong. By day she questions inanimate objects on her desk, singularly debating the reason of her existence. By night, she is the caretaker of drunk and kohl smeared animals. 24 and already hooked up to nicotine for life support, she dreams of a job that will finally allow her to tame runaway carousels.

But after a year at Two Queens, she has admitted that she took away the most important life lesson one could ever learn to survive in a social environment: inanimate objects do not talk back. She wanted to save the world with a huge ballpoint pen, but discovered the television and the internet. Since then, life has been put on hold as she discovered her natural flair for being a potato. To satisfy her alter ego, she hides behind a colored screen working her naked fingers across square blocks to entertain you.

She likes cheese, huge furry animals and is in the process of adopting a llama so they can watch television together (girlfriends are SO past tense).

Zhou Aie
Writer

Like a (an) __________ (add word here) kitten, she pounces on all things intriguing, wriggling her tiny butt in excitement. With dirty paws she leaves her tracks, and on to the next destination you find her fresh prints. Blessed with two large observant eyes, she pores through details in her inquisitive mind. Her intuitive nature is her loyal servant; her nonchalant attitude aids her in the face of danger. To be in her good books takes more than just stroking her the right way. She might purr or she might hiss so be on your toes around her. As mysterious as the night, she surprises when you least expect it.

Deep down, she is just an adorable little pussycat. Meow. Email her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

An acid-tongued hedonist who occasionally trips on reality, this former journalist has an unexplainable devotion to the arts. Doggedly, she pursued her love for performance and graduated from the University of Bristol with a first class in Drama: Theatre, Film and Television.

She also has weird habits like cussing in French, finishing off boxes of cherry tomatoes and regressing into a four year old when drunk.

A jughead when it comes to geography. Extent of geographical knowledge stops at the ability to spell the word. Being bad with directions, she doesn’t know which untrodden path she moseyed onto, but hesitates to bazooka her way through in case the small animals go to heaven along with the undergrowth.

Held in cold storage by the concept of infinity. Wakes up constantly thinking it’s 1999. Has turned retro before her time.

Don’t email her. She can’t comprehend messages beyond 140 characters. Find her on twitter instead @belauyong.

A contradictory feminist who is struggling to make sense of society and the regular person’s thought process.
Nothing is too trivial to have an opinion of because having none would be akin to being dead.

She strongly believes that words were made to inspire, challenge and provoke so don’t be too offended if what she says hits too close to home.
Her goal in life is to recreate a petting zoo in her home, oh, and also to never stop writing.
